Ryan Wails
Ryan Wails researches computer privacy and security. His work focuses on covert network communication protocols, high-performance network simulation, secure statistic computation in distributed systems, and path selection in low-latency anonymity systems. He received two Bachelor of Science degrees from Penn State, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgetown University, and a PhD in Computer Science from Georgetown University.
Autumn Toney-Wails
Autumn Toney-Wails researches natural language processing and responsible AI. Her work focuses on scientific misinformation, trust and uncertainty in large language models, and the analysis of language and knowledge production across scientific and policy domains. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Florida, a Master of Science in Data Science from George Washington University, and a PhD in Computer Science from Georgetown University.
